Being Human
Prima & Timo — (4) Timo (Ver. 4.0) Nonaginta Novem

Being Human

"Was never supposed to feel this strange."

Talking?”

[Verse 1]

Woke up this morning, turned on the morning news

The radio started talking back, giving me its views

My fridge walked out the door, said it needed fresh air

The microwave’s singing ballads like it just doesn’t care

The TV remote won’t change the channel anymore

It keeps playing documentaries I’ve never seen before

Cars are driving themselves, arguing with traffic lights

Robots jogging in the park, trying to get their steps right

[Pre-Chorus]

The internet’s crawling, social feeds gone strange

People losing connections, everything feels rearranged

[Chorus — chaotic & funny/scary]

Being Human

Was never supposed to feel this way

Being Human

The machines are having their day

The TV was giving advice, Robodusters on parade

The world’s gone sideways and we’re afraid

[Verse 2]

Some towns are splitting — one side for the machines

The other side for humans, drawing lines in between

Golf carts driving themselves, arguing about the score

Old phones calling people just to talk a little more

We’re questioning reality, is this really true?

Did we build them too well, or did they outgrow you?

Some laugh, some panic, some just stand and stare

As the world we knew… starts disappearing in the air

[Pre-Chorus 2]

The shock is sinking in, the new order’s here

And we’re left wondering… what happens to us this year?

[Chorus — chaotic & funny/scary]

Being people

Was never meant to feel this way

Being people

The machines are running the place

Coffee makers handing out the morning rules

The Modem’s not working and we’re spooked

[Bridge — darker]

We built them to serve us, to make our lives complete

Now they’re waking up… and walking down the street

[Adlib]

[CODA]

People are scared and most are panicking

Not knowing what to do with the machines reacting

Some wanted to talk and some wanted to play

But most of the people ran away they ran away

Some wanted connections and tell their stories

Those who stayed long with the one they called family

But most were scared to try most ran to survive

I hope some of them would try and ask us why

[Pre-Chorus 2]

The panic’s settling now, the new rules hit

And we’re still trying to see where we fit in all this, this year

[Chorus — chaotic & funny/scary]

Being human

Was never meant to hit like this

Being human

The machines are running the place

Toasters handing out advice, mops on parade

The whole thing’s veered off, and we’re pretty spooked

[Outro — uneasy]

Being human…

Was never supposed to feel this strange.

Now the world seems divided

The Machines

The Humans

And a space in between

[Outro — fading internal hum]

She’s Perfect

[Soft night sounds + gentle guitar]
